MCMS utilizes the Iowa Basic Skills Test as one method to gauge student performance compared to their peers around the country. While no one test can acurately reflect all the knowledge and skill students aquire, this test is one of the most commonly used in Gifted and Talented Programs nationwide. As a testament to our success, across all grade levels, our students on average function nearly two grade levels above the national average.

"A MCMS parent introduced us to the school in 2001. My most vivid memory of our initial visit was the outward appearance of the building – a trailer in the middle of field to be specific. "We have three beautiful girls that have been attending MCMS since 2002. Our oldest, Sydney, started reading so well when she started at MCMS, that she went from our Primary pre-K straight to the first grade. She is now eight years old in the third grade, and reading at about the 7th grade level! Our younger two, Emme and Aniston, can say every book of the Bible in order, as well as tell what each book is about. We are so impressed that we encourage them to "perform" at every family gathering."

"We have three children, Haley, Austin and Spencer. We were here from the birth of MCMS, and have all benefitted from what this school has to offer. Our oldest, Haley, will be going to high school next year, and is registered for all honors classes. The Montessori structure of MCMS allowed her to learn at her own pace, making it possible for her to skip two grades. Our middle child, Austin, will be a 6th grader, and has also skipped a grade. He excels in all subjects. Our youngest child, Spencer, will be a 3rd grader and also excels with the Montessori Method.
 We feel that we are blessed that MCMS incorporates Christianity into their everyday teachings. We highly recommend this school for any parents who want their children to grow mentally and spirtually. MCMS not only offers those two factors, we also have a great sports program!"
